Accreditation of The International
University, Missouri, USA -
The following 7 points will help you
to understand fully the term
"Accreditation ", Government or Federal
University, Admission requirements in
Federal Universities, legality of TIU
degree, Regional Accreditation Agencies in
USA, and Transfer of TIU Credits
to Government Universities etc.
As there
is too much confusion and lack of clarify on
this matter in the minds of students and
public, you are advised to please read
slowly and carefully and understand the
issue of " Accreditation "
Many Universities take advantage of this"
confusion " and misguide the students and
take advantage. Even media does not either
have the knowledge or it does not publish
the truth and hides the truth from people.
Only around 23 % of total number of
Universities " Regionally Accredited " in
USA. The remaining 77% of them are " Not
Regionally Accredited ".
Generally, over 80% of population in any
country, can't join Government or Federal
Universities in USA. There are two reasons.
1. High amount of fees. 2. Tough Admission
conditions such as SAT, TOEFL, GMAT and GPA
requirements. Less than 20% of people in any
country, can
join Federal or Government Universities,
which has Regional Accreditation in United States.
Majority of the people mainly
Working Executives and Managers are not able
to meet the Academic eligibility conditions
of such Top Ranking Government and Private
Universities in USA and UK and Canada, apart
from meeting high cost of their fees. Hence,
they can't join such Ivy and Top Ranking
Universities due to the above reasons. For
them, the ideal option is join any other
University offering part-time distance
learning or Online-study programs, as are
offered by TIU.
1. In USA, The Accreditation is done by
Private Agencies and Not by the Government.
In all other countries, the Accreditation of
University is Government function.
Many don't know this. Hence, the
Accreditation does not assume much
importance, because it doesn't determine the
legality of the University. Most
Universities in USA, including TIU, have
accreditation.
2. Government has budget for Education.
Government Universities are getting funds
from Government. Due to shortage of funds for education
budget in USA and many other countries, most
Universities, around 78% of total number
of Universities in USA ( Out of around
4253 Universities ), don't get Funds from
Government and as such they don't get
Accreditation from the 6 Regional
Accrediting Agencies which provide
Accreditation. These 6 Regional
Accreditation Agencies in USA, provide
accreditation to those Universities,
which get funds. TIU has chosen not
approach fto Government for funds. Hence,
its name does not appear in the list of
Regionally Accredited. But this does
not effect legality of its Degrees.
3. However, this aspect of Regional
Accreditation is not Controlled by
Department of Education in USA. Please also
note that Accreditation is also not
compulsory for the University to operate in
United States.
4. However, by and large, all
Universities in USA have
accreditation. Accreditation is used
by University as " Marketing tool " for
their programs. But in reality, no one
knows and no one knows how to verify and
confirm that. Even Employers don't know
about it and know how to verify it.
Some Universities who are in competition with each other, they create
this " fear " in the minds of students, by
doing setting with " Media ". This happens
in many countries.
5. Government Universities known as "
Federal Universities " . They get
funds from Government. Such Universities, have to get
accreditation from one of Six Regionally
Accredited Agencies in USA. There
is always shortage of funds with Government
for the Universities. Universities need
funds for paying salaries to Faculty,
Research Laboratories, Expansion of Campuses
etc.
6.
The International University is licensed by
the State of Missouri, U.S.A. It is
accredited Member with Honor from 1973 to
present with The Accrediting Commission
International. Accreditation in USA is given by
Private Bodies and not by the Government. In
USA, Accreditation does not determine
the validity or legality of the Degrees in
USA. All Degrees are equal and legally valid
which are issued by Universities, Licensed
by the State. All our degrees are issued
under the seal of the State of Missouri and

( Secretary of State : Hillary R Clinton's
Office in Washington ).
