As we all witness that
the Global recession
has spread all
over the world since October
2008, and it would continue
in different countries in different
magnitude, due to divergent Government
Policies, strategies and actions
of the leaders of the various countries.
All Governments and scholars are
battling to find solutions to deal
with it, yet there doesn't seem
to be an easy way or straight-forward
solution to this Financial Crisis.
The world is suffering due to Liquidity
Crisis and over-ambitious plans
and bad decisions leading to
heavy borrowings by Banks from the
Market and locking up of deposits
in non-forming Assets, which are
losing value continuously. Corruption
in certain Networks facilitated
by Lobbyists and Corporate
Brokers and their behind
the scenes nexus with
Politicians and Offshore
Tax-heaven Countries, for
commission have
also been major source of
Money-Laundering and thus has
been contributory to global
financial recession to a large extent
because the money has dried-up
from the Banking system and
funds have been siphoned to
Tax-heaven countries. The Governance and standards,
policies, and banking regulations
have been compromised. The solution
is not that easy It
calls for series of actions and
programs to be executed
properly. Unfortunately,
governments are finding
it difficult to implement changes
due to vested interests.
To understand this
and to survive and to grow, today's Managers,
therefore, have to be knowledgeable
and skillful in understanding these
behind the scenes strategies of vested interests who
have nexus and they secretively
play games for selfish interests.
The Senior Management should be
prepared to handle the pressures
of meeting the challenges of downsizing,
restructuring, expansion, mergers
and acquisitions etc. led by
this Crisis. The international
dimension of the growing business
requires Managers to be
competent to assess the
risk-factors by scanning the environment
both internal and external which
influences the health of an Organization,
to bring the desired Change in
the Organizations. It is a
big Challenge.
Survival and continual delivery
of performance are the major challenges
for the small, medium and even the
larger firms. All this requires
Managers to make decisions about
new strategies, action plans and
implementing strategies which require
sound knowledge of management practices
and principles.
I would like to share with you my
observations based on my interview
with over 25,000 Corporate Managers,
working in Multinational Organizations
and Banks, Government and
Semi-Government Organizations
who had approached me for
guidance and consultation before
joining University Executive MBA
Degree programs, during the past
20 years and later on I have provided
to them educational consultancy and guidance
and training.
I found that most of
such people
were not able to
grow in their Career or
were not able to qualify
or manage senior positions
namely : Executive Directors,
Presidents, CEOs, VPs, AVPs,
GMs, AGMs, Finance
Controllers, Functional
Managers, Bank Managers etc,
due to lack of MBA,
which is normally required to
manage Assets and
Liabilities of
Banks, Multinationals or any
Corporate and its performance
and its Resources.
Many of
these 25,000 Corporate
Executives who have met me
and who formed my Survey, I
found that they faced various constraints
of not only time, but also of
Academic Eligibility
Requirements
of
Federal ( Government )
Universities in USA, UK and Australia,
to join Bachelors or Masters
or Ph.D Degree programs. Managers
also don't have time to attend full
time or even part time studies
in colleges and Universities.
Moreover, In USA, UK, Canada
etc., the Universities which
are Federal
or Government supported
by funds, have tough and
stringent requirements pass certain
Academic Tests such as
GRE, SAT, TOEFL/ ELTS, GMAT
Exams and meet GPA scores that are
acceptable for Admission for
Bachelors or Masters Degree
programs. Most students (
above 80% ) have tough time
in passing these tests and
as such are not eligible to
join such Universities.
I also found that in quite many
cases, some of these junior,
middle and top executives
had
not done their basic graduation
at the University level due
to various reasons including
family and financial difficulties.
They have been getting jobs
based on work experience and
have progressed in career based
on performance. But they
were not able to grow or
manage the senior
responsibilities after a
certain limit, and this is
exactly the point, where
there is a utter need to
have a degree in Management,
such as MBA.
It is also my observation that
some Managers,
due to lack of guidance,
were also tempted by some
Universities
to get fast-degrees based on
experience only, without
adding any knowledge. But
this is not the real
solution because People
acquiring such Degrees don't
become functionally capable to manage
senior responsibilities.
Many people
lack maturity to understand
this. Some of them were
tempted to faster and
cheap degrees.
Such people had
suffered the most.
Such people
can't compete and manage the
Organizations.
Considering the above difficulties
that most Managers face, the

law are supposed to be attested by
foreign Ministries in
Washington, USA ( The USA
Foreign Ministry is currently (
since 2009, ) headed , by Secretary
of State, Hillary R. Clinton's
office ).
This is
also as per International
Treaties such as United Nations
of Human Rights and Conventions
and also as per International
Labor Organization and UNESCO
conventions which all Countries,
have signed and have agreed that
they would honor such Treaties, including UAE, India, Pakistan,
Sri lanka, Egypt, Syria, Sudan,
Kuwait, Saudi, Bahrain, Qatar
and Oman and other European and
Asian countries.
Also this is as per the
Constitutional rights for
education of USA and other
countries, which gives equal
rights to all their Citizens.
All Embassies and
Consulates from
various countries, which have
offices in Washington, USA, do
attest the Degrees of USA
University, if it is attested by
Secretary of State, Washington.
This is as per the I USA
Government Policies. It
should be noted that all such
Embassies from any country of
the World, which have office in
Washington, are attesting the :
STAMP AND SIGNATURE OF SECRETARY
OF STATE ( HILLARY R CLINTON'S
OFFICE). These Embassies are not
supposed to be putting any
conditions such as " Regional
Accreditation " from any of Six
Regional Bodies, etc., as a
pre-condition for attestation)
and if they do so, it would
conflict with International
Treaties and USA Policies for
Attestation.
Therefore, these Embassies can't
discriminate on attestation and
put their own policies and
conditions which are contrary to
above International Practices,
Treaties and Constitution.
Students joining from any of the
above countries, would get their
Degrees legalized from the
Foreign Ministries of USA and
after that, they can get it
attested from Embassy of
their own country as well.
Every Country has a
Constitution, which defines
Rights of their Citizens. The
Constitution of all Countries
provide equal rights to their
Citizens for Higher Education
and gives freedom and equal
opportunity to their Citizens to
get education. All Citizens have
a choice or freedom to
select any University, for
study, based on their
ability to afford for
fees and based on whether they
are able to meet eligibility
conditions and other convenience
to study. They can join,
full-time, part-time, distance
learning, Online programs.
They can't be forced by any one
to join a specific or a
Particular University.
Constitution does not
say anywhere that the students
have to join only Government Universities
known as
" Federal Universities" .
Constitution also does
not specify and explain the term
" Accreditation ".
The Government, the Institutions
and Employers make policies
and Policies are not Laws.Policies which conflict or
contradict Federal Laws such as
Education Laws and Constitution
Laws, are considered to be "unfair
" and such policies can be
set-aside and are illegalfor the reasons that Policies must
respect and recognize Federal Laws allowed
and Constitution.
